LK PREMIER Lens

LK PREMIER Lens
Wide Optic Zone Design
for High Myopia

Principle of LK PREMIER LENS

LK PREMIER LENS(Ortho-K lens) is vision correction lens that is
worn during sleep to temporarily adjust the shape of the central
cornea and thereby change the refractive state.
As a vision correction method that considers daytime activities,
and the wearing time and duration of effect may vary depending on
the individual's visual condition.

LK Lens Information
(LK PREMIER, LK Toric PREMIER)

LK Lens(Ortho-K) is vision-correcting lenses designed to be worn during sleep.

01
LK Lens(Ortho-K lens) is designed to be worn during sleep. Continuous wear may be required initially, and wearing schedule there after may vary depending on the individual's visual condition.
02
Replacement cycle of the LK Lens may vary depending on care condition and usage environment, and the lens is generally replaced every 2 to 3 years.
03
If lens wear is discontinued, corneal condition may gradually return to a condition close to that before lens wear over time.
04
The eye is surrounded by the conjunctiva, and its structure does not allow the lens to move behind the eye.
05
Wearing time and wearing schedule may vary depending on the individual's visual condition.
LK Lens Wearing Schedule and Care
LK Lens Wearing Schedule

The lens should generally be worn during sleep,
and wearing time of 7–8 hours is generally recommended.
Daytime wear should be determined after consultation with the medical professional, if necessary.

LK Lens Care

The lens should be used according to the care instructions provided in the instructions for use, and it is important to maintain cleanliness when caring for the lens.

Lens Insertion Method
  • Support the forehead with the thumb of the left hand and pull the upper eyelid upward with the index finger.

  • Place the lens on the index finger of the right hand and apply one drop of artificial tears.

  • Gently pull down the lower eyelid with the middle finger of the right hand.

  • Gently place the lens on the cornea and then remove the finger.

  • Release the lower eyelid and then release the upper eyelid. Repeat the same method for the other eye.

Lens Removal Method
Using the Eyelids

Looking into a mirror, open your eyes wide and place the index fingers of both hands near the eyelashes of the upper and lower eyelids.

Keep the fingers from directly touching the lens and take care not to turn the eyelids inside out.

Gently press the lower eyelid and push it upward.

When the lens naturally pops out due to the pressure, carefully remove it.

Using a Lens applicator(Lens plunger)

Hold the lens applicator(lens plunger) with the thumb and index finger of the right hand.

Open the eye wide and gently pull the upper and lower eyelids as when inserting the lens.

Align the lens applicator(lens plunger) with the pupil and attach it closely to the lens. Move the lens applicator(lens plunger) to remove the lens.

To detach the lens from the lens applicator(lens plunger), press the handle of the lens applicator(lens plunger).

Precautions When Removing the Lens
When removing LK Lens, first apply 1–2 drops of artificial tears to the eye and blink at least 10 times. Repeat this process at least 3 times, then move the eyes from side to side and up and down to allow sufficient tear circulation between the cornea and the lens before removing the lens.

If the lens is removed immediately without performing these steps, it may cause injury to the cornea and may also reduce the vision-correction effect.
Lens Cleaning Method (Cleaning)
01

Place the lens on the palm of your hand and apply 1–2 drops of LK Cleaner. Then, gently rub and clean the lens with the index finger of your right hand for at least 20 seconds without applying force.

02

Rinse thoroughly with saline solution so that no cleaner remains on the lens.

03

When placing the lens in lens case, store the lens carefully so that it does not come into contact with the edges of the lens case.

Precautions When Cleaning the Lens
The lens must be thoroughly cleaned with the cleaner both when removing and inserting the lens. In particular, before insertion, the lens should be thoroughly rinsed with saline solution so that no cleaner or preservative solution remains on the lens, in order to prevent adverse effects caused by chemical ingredients.
* Caution: LK Cleaner is not a medical device.
